Welcome to Walk of Life Counseling's blog, On Mental Health! I'm Jason, the founder and owner of Walk of Life Counseling, and, yes, you guessed it--the author of this blog.
I'm a dual licensed psychotherapist with a master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I created this blog because I enjoy learning and writing, and I enjoy sharing with others what I've learned over my years in public service. My mission with this blog is to share with my clients, my colleagues, and the public experiences I've had and gained over the years, as well as new things I continue to learn. My hope is that you will take something useful from this site each time you visit.
As this page develops, I will post blog articles on a broad range of topics in the fields of mental health and psychology as well as resources I have compiled and will continue to put together. If you have any resources that might be useful for others, please give me a shout and I will add it or them to our resource list here with a special shout-out (credit due) to the person who shared it.
This page will be updated as new blog articles are posted and resources shared. There are a few ways to not miss updates: subscribe to the RSS feed, go to our Facebook page and follow us (we will post on our page when new items are added to the blog), or just check back occasionally and see what's new!
Blog articles will appear on this page in archive form as they are published. You will see them right below this introduction section; for simplicity's sake, the blog page is this home page.
Please enjoy the site, and let me know your thoughts!
Warmly,
Jason
